How to use Bali Butter.
A little goes a long way. Always follow the aftercare directions given by your tattoo artist first.
Clean and dry
Wash your hands, clean the tattoo as instructed by your artist and gently pat the skin dry.
Use a small amount
Take a small amount of Bali Butter and warm it between clean fingertips.
Apply a thin layer
Smooth it over the tattoo in a light, even layer. Freshly tattooed skin should not be smothered.
Continue as advised
Reapply according to your artist’s aftercare directions. Keep using it on healed tattoos for everyday care.
If you notice increasing redness, worsening pain, heat, pus, fever or spreading swelling, contact a doctor or dermatologist. Aftercare balm is not a substitute for medical treatment.

BPOM is Indonesia’s national authority for the oversight of medicines, food and cosmetics. BALI BUTTER Aftercare is notified under number NA18260106691, valid from 8 June 2026 to 7 June 2029.
02Can I order directly for personal use?+
No. Bali Butter is licensed for business-to-business sales only. Tattoo clients can buy through one of our current studio stockists.

Bali Butter is designed for fresh and healed tattoos. Always follow the aftercare instructions given by your tattoo artist, including when to remove your dressing and begin applying balm.
04Is it suitable for colour, blackwork and fine line tattoos?+
Yes. The formula is made for tattooed skin rather than a particular tattoo style, so it can be used across colour, blackwork and fine line work.
05How much should I apply?+
Use a small amount and smooth it into a light, even layer. Freshly tattooed skin should not be smothered. Follow your artist’s advice and the directions on the tin.
06Can I keep using it after my tattoo has healed?+
Yes. Bali Butter can be used as everyday care to moisturise and condition healed tattooed skin.
